Hop on a hay wagon in Blue Bell. Whitpain Township Parks and Recreation runs its Hayrides at Prophecy Creek Park on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 205 West Skippack Pike, according to the township.
Whitpain calls it a tradition, and it's one of the coziest fall nights on the township calendar.
Hay wagons carry passengers up to the park's upper field for a bonfire, a spooky storyteller and a witch serving hot cider out of a cauldron, per Whitpain Township. The township's program page lists Bill Wood as the storyteller and says hot apple cider and ginger snaps are included. Glow necklaces from the Whitpain Police Association are handed out first come, first served.
Wagons run a continuous loop and pick up every 10 to 15 minutes. The last wagon leaves the parking lot at 8:45 p.m., and the last one leaves the bonfire at 9 p.m.
It's $10 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 3 to 11, and free for kids 2 and under, with cash or card accepted, according to the program page. Online pre-registration is open until Thursday, Oct. 22, at 4 p.m., and pre-paid tickets are non-refundable.
