Crafts in the Meadow Returns to Tyler State Park: 130+ Artisans, Two Days of Music

Drive down the sycamore-lined lane into Tyler State Park this weekend and you'll find a white barn, a meadow full of tents and a lot of people who make beautiful things by hand. Crafts in the Meadow, Tyler Park Center for the Arts' fall invitational craft show, returns Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17–18, 2026, with more than 130 fine artisans, live music all weekend, food, demonstrations and activities for kids.

Why this weekend is worth the drive

Mid-October is the sweet spot in Tyler State Park, when the trees along the Neshaminy start to turn and a day outside still feels easy. The show is juried, which means the artisans are selected rather than simply signed up, so you are browsing fine art and craft rather than a flea market. It's also a very Bucks County kind of afternoon: you can pick up a handmade gift, catch a set of blues and still have time for a walk by the creek, which is exactly how I'd plan it.

The details: hours, tickets and what to bring

The show runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Tyler Park Center for the Arts, 10 Stable Mill Road in Richboro, inside Tyler State Park. Tickets at the gate are $10 per person, children under 12 get in free, and TPCA members get in free too. Gate tickets are cash only, and while there is an ATM on site, it may charge a fee, so it's easier to bring cash. One heads-up for dog owners: pets aren't permitted at the event, so leave the pup home for this one.

  • When: Sat., Oct. 17, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Sun., Oct. 18, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
  • Where: Tyler Park Center for the Arts, 10 Stable Mill Road, Richboro (Tyler State Park)
  • Tickets: $10 at the gate, cash only; kids under 12 and TPCA members free
  • Pets: not permitted

Music in the Meadow

The soundtrack is half the fun. Saturday's lineup runs from Bob Tomlinson at 11 a.m. through Dick Deluxe Revue, Chris Roberts and Gypsy Stew to Killer Whale at 4 p.m. On Sunday, Joe Borthwick opens at 11 a.m., Dick Deluxe Revue returns at 12:15 p.m., the All in Jam/New Orleans Troupe plays at 1:30 p.m., and Doylestown's own Little Red Rooster Blues Band closes at 2:45 p.m. The band has played Chicago and West Coast jump swing blues since 1988 and was inducted into the Pennsylvania Blues Hall of Fame in 2016, so Sunday afternoon is a good bet if you want to linger.

About the host

Tyler Park Center for the Arts grew out of Earth Center Pottery, which Jennifer Miller founded in 2001, when the barn served as headquarters for the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. When the Guild moved in 2009, Miller expanded the operation into TPCA, a community art center offering classes for every level, surrounded by a large outdoor sculpture exhibit. Crafts in the Meadow is its big fall weekend.

From Nick

Tyler State Park is one of my favorite fall spots in Bucks County, and a sunny weekend there with good music and local artists is about as Bucks County as it gets. Bring cash, bring the kids and come home with something handmade.
