Spirits & Specters Brings Sleepy Hollow to Graeme Park

The night before Halloween, Horsham's Keith House leans cocktail-hour, not candy bag. Graeme Park presents America 250: Spirits & Specters — The Truth Behind the Legend of Sleepy Hollow on Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from 7 to 10 p.m. at 859 County Line Road. Historian Mike Jesberger joins a Halloween cocktail hour with appetizers and live chamber music for the Headless Horseman lore behind Washington Irving's tale.

Graeme Park is the colonial estate most people drive past on County Line without realizing how many stories still happen inside. This night puts one of the famous ones on the calendar.

What's on the schedule

Friends of Graeme Park list $40 regular admission (includes one drink ticket), $30 designated driver, and note that an early-registration rate of $35 ended Oct. 9, 2026. Tickets are on Zeffy with optional tips and no platform fees baked into the sticker price. Cash bar follows the included drink.

A related Spirits & Specters night, "Haunted Bucks County" with medium and author Laurie Hull, is Fri., Oct. 23. Oct. 30 is the Sleepy Hollow program with Jesberger.

Why it's worth showing up

Most October events around here are daytime and family-first. This one is an evening lecture-plus-cocktail format in a real 1722 house, which is a different kind of Halloween stop for adults who still want a local night out.

Early-bird pricing is closed, so use the current Zeffy tiers if you're going.
