Halloween on the Farm Returns to Playwicki This Saturday

Saturday night at Playwicki Farm is about to feel like the best kind of Bucks County October — costumes, candy, and a movie on the lawn as the light goes soft. Lower Southampton Parks and Recreation is hosting Halloween on the Farm on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at 2350 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053, according to the township’s official events calendar. Playwicki Farm is a Lower Southampton Township park; Feasterville-Trevose is the mailing name for most of the township.

This is one of those township nights that makes Lower Southampton feel like a real neighborhood. Families get a safe, organized Halloween stop on the same grounds where neighbors already gather for parks programs — and the calendar says it starts right at 6.

What’s planned

Bucks Happening’s weekend listing for Oct. 16–18 fills in the fun: kids can enjoy Trunk or Treating, Halloween crafts, dancing, a costume contest, and a movie on the lawn starting at dusk. A Sept. 23, 2026 Lower Southampton Spirit spotlight on Lower Southampton Parks & Recreation also lists pumpkin painting for this year’s night, alongside trunk-or-treat, the costume contest and the movie on the lawn at dusk. The township page is the source for the date, the 6:00 p.m. start, and the Playwicki Farm address; the activity lineup comes from Bucks Happening’s 2026 weekend guide.

What I haven’t seen locked on the 2026 township listing is the movie title, a published ticket price, or a minute-by-minute activity schedule beyond that 6:00 p.m. start. Treat it as a township community evening — prior coverage framed it as a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating — and check the township site the day of if you need last-minute weather notes.

How it grew (2025 context)

This isn’t a brand-new idea on the farm. A Lower Southampton Spirit recap of the Oct. 18, 2025 event called it the second annual Halloween on the Farm and quoted Parks & Recreation Director Walt Mulholland on how the night had grown. That 2025 write-up put attendance at roughly 200 kids and 20–25 cars, up from about 100 kids and 12–13 cars in 2024; the 2025 movie was Hotel Transylvania, and that year’s start was listed at 4:30 p.m. Those are 2025 numbers and details, not 2026 forecasts — useful only as a reminder that neighbors keep showing up and the night has become an annual tradition.

If you’re at Playwicki earlier the same Saturday, the grounds are also hosting a 2.2 Suicide Awareness Walk at 9:00 a.m. — a different event, same address, worth knowing if your day already runs through the farm.

By the numbers

  • Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026 — Halloween on the Farm
  • 6:00 p.m. — start time (Lower Southampton Township)
  • 2350 Bridgetown Pike — Playwicki Farm, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053
  • Trunk-or-treat · pumpkin painting · crafts · dancing · costume contest · movie at dusk — activity lineup (Bucks Happening; pumpkin painting per Lower Southampton Spirit, Sept. 23, 2026)
  • 2025 (context only): ~200 kids / 20–25 cars vs. ~100 kids / 12–13 cars in 2024 (Lower Southampton Spirit)

What I’d do next

Bring a costume the kids are proud of, arrive ready for trunk-or-treat and crafts, and plan to stay for the lawn movie once dusk settles in. Confirm any last-minute updates on the township event page before you leave — weather and movie details can still move. And if you’re mapping the rest of your Bucks County Saturday, remember Playwicki’s morning awareness walk is separate from the evening Halloween program.
