Apple fritters, a pie-eating contest and free parking: Peddler's Village holds its Apple Festival on Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, and admission and general parking are free, according to the village's event page. It's a tradition Peddler's Village has run since 1973.

Why this weekend is worth circling

Peddler's Village calls the Apple Festival one of the most popular annual events in the greater Philadelphia region, and the timing helps. It lands on the first full weekend of November. The festival runs outdoors, rain or shine, and the village's shops stay open throughout, with Saturday shopping hours stretching to 8 p.m., so a fritter run can turn into an early start on gifts without a second trip.

What to eat (start with the fritters)

The apple fritters set up on the Village Green both days. From there, the festival food lineup spreads along Peddlers Lane, where the village lists Cousins Maine Lobster, Kono Pizza, Bacon on a Stick and Meat Wagon BBQ both days, with Local Harvest on Saturday and Rooster and the Chick and G'Day Gourmet on Sunday. The Waterwheel tent sets up on the Upper Village Green, which is also where you'll find bags and bushels of fresh apples to carry home. And if you want dessert with a roof over it, The Lucky Cupcake Company's Village Bakery is serving apple cupcakes, pastries, pies and other apple-inspired treats from the bakery and an outdoor tent all weekend, while supplies last.

Pie-eating, music and plenty to do

The headline moment is the pie-eating contest, set for 2 p.m. each day on the Village Green balcony. Around it, the schedule fills both afternoons with live music, including Big Chill on the main stage from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and the Michael Christopher Band from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, plus a strolling apple farmer on stilts, jugglers and a caricature artist. Families can head to the Red Barn Field for a gem mine, face painting, sand art and slime, or to the Street Road Green for a petting zoo, lawn games and hay piles, and grown-ups who want something a little louder can try ThrowHouse axe throwing. Some activities are pay as you go, so it's worth checking the full schedule on the village's site before you leave.

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

How to beat the parking crunch

Here's the honest catch: Peddler's Village says parking will be in great demand and recommends arriving early, carpooling or using a rideshare. If you'd rather not circle the lots, the village sells guaranteed VIP parking for $25, with an attendant greeting cars from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
